6 Days Gorilla & Wildlife Tour in Rwanda

After an early breakfast, pack your lunchbox and water and drive towards the Northern Sector of the park via Mulumba Hills overlooking Tanzania. You will have a picnic lunch in the open savannah plains while viewing some animals.

After an early breakfast, drive to Volcanoes National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda.

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Volcanoes National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. You can hire a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into small groups and led by a park ranger into the forest.

Today, we visit the cultural village of Iby’Iwachu for a great performance from a reprica of the Kings palace of Nyanza and you could become a King or Queen for the day. Performances such as Kinyarwanda traditional marriage, the medicine man, Black Smith and local food grinding on a curved stone. Continue to Gisenyi for a one hour drive and have a City Tour. Drive along L.Kivu overlooking DRC with a relaxation and swimming in the white sand beach.

After the tour of L.Kivu, embark on your return journey to Kigali with a drive around town and later continue to Kigali International Airport for your return journey back home or onward journey.
